Responsible Sourcing and Production
VPMS is committed to responsible sourcing and the management of social, environmental, and economic sustainability in our supply chains. We follow the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) Due Diligence Guidance for Minerals and adopted the principles of the United Nations (UN) Global Compact.
At our site in Langelsheim, our high technology equipment and controlled processes are optimised to refine and recycle minor metals. Recycling of metals supports circular material flows, reducing the demand for natural resources and aligned with a sustainable economy.
VPMS works under the safety requirements of 12. BImSchV (12. German Federal Immission Control Ordinance).
Our production facilities and associated waste water treatment plants are permitted according to the BImSchG (German Federal Immission Control Act) and the WHG (German Federal Water Act) respectively. These Acts ensure integrated prevention and control of any harmful effects on the environment.
